An innovative complex inspired by sunlight, Résidence Paul Bourget
This unusual project in the 13th arrondissement of Paris has been reimagined to address the problem of dilapidated buildings and their lack of compliance with new environmental and accessibility standards.
This architecture, made up of five entities, lends vertical rhythm to the facade without compromising its overall sense of cohesion. This residence has been redesigned to be in keeping with the green space at its heart.
It is thanks to this open central square that the complex benefits from optimal lighting that sees reflections dance across the main facade clad in aluminum sliding shutters.
As part of this project, the architectural firm ‘Vous Etes Ici’ chose Griesser to fit the windows for the 78 apartments.
Two different types of sliding shutters were selected and adapted to suit the construction: the H wood model on a white lacquered aluminum frame, and the SL perforated model in an anodized aluminum finish.
The combination of these two models makes it possible to change up the dimensions, with single or double panels depending on the openings to add an interplay of materials and dynamism to the gray brick facade on the south side.
